I have never felt more humiliated and disrespected while living here. I'm sure that they'll reply with some generic "sorry you had a bad experience but it was totally your fault and we care so much about making it right!" line, but I beg you not to believe them. I read those responses too when first considering moving there, believed them, and I regret it tremendously.
This building should be condemned. There is black mold and I got very ill during my year living here. My pets became lethargic,... smelly, and weak. I developed breathing and memory issues while also being chronically exhausted. Within a couple weeks of moving out, our symptoms alleviated. My pets are young and healthy, as am I. We had never, ever experienced chronic health issues like this before living at City Line. This place will slowly kill you.
The black mold issue aside, this building is just awful. The piping needs to be replaced. My water would turn brown and gunky multiple times a week. Management would shut off water to the building for days at a time during the summer with no warning or explanation. The heating would work maybe half the time in the winter. They also shut off heat to the entire building in early March, posting a snotty note on everyone's door advising us to simply use an extra blanket if we got cold. There is virtually no air conditioning except for a crappy little unit in the kitchen that can barely cool down a small room, much less an entire one bedroom apartment. During the summer I would suffer from heat exhaustion just from sitting in my apartment all day, multiple times a week. Keeping pets here is frankly cruel and I won't forgive myself or City Line for the suffering my pets endured from the extreme heat and cold we were forced to live in.
Management treated me like an inconvenience whenever I had the audacity of contacting them to do their jobs or provide me the most basic information. They tried to get my car towed from the dilapidated, sorry excuse for a parking garage I paid $50 a month for multiple times although I never once broke any rule or was late on any fee that could have justified that. Sometimes they would just lie and say they couldn't do something to get out of doing their job, but when I would call again a few hours later and speak to a different person, the task would suddenly become possible and the barrier magically disappear.
I hope management gets sued someday and this place condemned.

My apartment is a pet friendly place that makes my family stay whole and complete. My boy Ash is a 254lb Saint Bernard. The building itself has its own wonderful like feeling and the neighbors act like a community of a whole, all interconnected.
Some move in and out but we share, feel and care about one another, not in a way that invades privacy but in a compassionate and empathic way that stimulates good feelings.
I and Ash love our beautiful apartment, old style doors, molding and... copper wall adornment all right in the heart of Salt Lake City.
